About the Lab

From human disease samples to engineered immune-cell therapies.

The Choi Lab develops novel immunotherapies by using high-dimensional approaches to study human disease samples, identify disease-promoting molecular defects in immune cells, and engineer ways to reverse those defects.

The lab’s work connects cancer immunology, autoimmune disease, T cell lymphoma, cellular therapy, single-cell biology, spatial analysis, and translational research.

Jaehyuk Choi, M.D., Ph.D.

Inaugural Director of the Center for Cellular Therapies and Cancer Immunology and Vice Chair for Translational Research and Innovation in Dermatology.

Dr. Choi leads a research program focused on cancer immunology, autoimmune disease, T cell lymphoma, cellular therapy, and translational discovery.
